Mountain Valley has two trap fields and has regularly scheduled tournaments held under the auspices of the Amateur Trap Shooting Association. Trap is shot on Tuesday from 2:00 p.m. to dark, Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to Noon and on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Land has been cleared in preparation of a third Trap field, as finances permit. Monthly match fee is $5.00 for non-members, $4.00 for members first round and $3.00 for each additional round. Everyone is invited to shoot these matches. Shot Shells are available at the trap range for $5 / box.
